Customers served by HEXPOL Compounding Americas (HCA) joined HCA associates and senior executives from across the company earlier this summer for an open house at the company\u2019s Burton and Middlefield, Ohio, manufacturing facilities.<\/p>

The personalized event focused on one-on-one conversations and small-group factory tours highlighting some of the strategic investments in operations and laboratories that keep HCA at the forefront of mixing technology and material development.<\/p>

Customers developing solutions for automotive and various industrial applications, along with HCA team members from virtually every corporate function, shared and gathered insights about:<\/p>

  • Prioritizing quality in materials, testing, mixing, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.<\/li>
  • Communicating, collaborating, and innovating with an always-on urgency.<\/li>
  • Deepening application knowledge across teams to enhance customer competitiveness.<\/li><\/ul>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    \u201cSolution selling is a team sport,\u201d said Gary Moore, President and Chief Executive Officer of HEXPOL Compounding Americas. \u201cEvery one of our associates, regardless of their role, understands the critical nature of active listening, innovative thinking, and customer focus. When we do those things better than anyone\u2014consulting with customers, using our expertise to refine recipes in our labs, or producing quality products on time\u2014we effectively join each of our customers in their race to lead and dominate their industries.\u201d<\/p>

    Over 300 HCA associates deliver solutions for customers in Burton and Middlefield under the leadership and guidance of general managers Michael Leeper (Burton) and Jeremy Lawson (Middlefield).<\/p>

    Scheduled customer visits to HCA facilities in the US and Mexico are considered standard work for the technical advances and custom mixing efforts customers require to continually improve their competitiveness.<\/p>
