HEXPOL TPE is an international plastic compounding group specialising in Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) materials. We were among the 1st companies to produce TPEs in Europe, and more than 55 years later, the possibilities continue to inspire us. We’re part of the HEXPOL Group, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden. HEXPOL TPE’s UK site is in Middleton, Manchester, with a growing team of around 50 employees.

About you and the role 

Your main task will be testing our finished goods and raw materials. You’ll record data in our QMS (Quality Management Systems), flag any issues and help investigate non-conformances. 

Reporting to the SHEQ (Safety Health Environment and Quality) manager, you’ll be part of a small SHEQ team, regularly communicating with our sales admin and production teams working to ensure our customers receive quality products on schedule.   

This role is for someone very organised, with attention to detail and keen quality control. You take pride in doing things properly and on time.

Ideal competencies: 
  • Experience in quality assurance is an advantage. 
  • Excellent organisation and business administration skills. 
  • Articulate and confident communication skills.  
  • Ability to follow procedures as required by internal and external quality standards. 
  • Work productively and effectively to lead times whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality. 
  • A team player mentality and personable, professional, and calm. 
  • You’re willing to learn, improve and adapt. 
  • You are computer literate and competent in basic MS Office applications
