To <\/span>enable<\/span> the shift away from virgin feedstocks and <\/span>help keep valuable materials in circulation<\/span>, we have developed variants of our <\/span>Dryflex<\/span> WS <\/span>Hydrophilic T<\/span>hermoplastic <\/span>E<\/span><\/a>lastomers <\/a>(TPE) that incorporate recycled <\/span>content<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The recycled content is sourced from Post Industrial <\/span>Recyclate<\/span> (PIR), which is material diverted from the waste stream during the manufacturing process, as defined by ISO 14021. This excludes materials like rework, regrind, or scrap that can be reclaimed within the same process that generated them.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dryflex<\/span><\/a> WS<\/a> TPEs <\/span>contain<\/span> hydrophilic particles that <\/span>exhibit<\/span> controlled swelling when immersed in water, followed by contraction when the water is removed, allowing for repeated expansion and contraction cycles.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The controlled swelling and water-retention properties of <\/span>Dryflex<\/span> WS <\/span>hydrophilic TPEs<\/span> is<\/span> beneficial in applications<\/span> where you want to stop the ingress or exit of water.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Dryflex<\/span> WS TPEs can <\/span>now <\/span>incorporate up to 35% recycled content, although the percentage may vary depending on the desired swell level. <\/span>Generally, higher<\/span> swell levels may result in lower levels of recycled content.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
