HEXPOL TPE awarded ISCC PLUS certification in the UK <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All of<\/span> the HEXPOL TPE group<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s European <\/span>companies<\/span> are now <\/span>ISCC PLUS certified (<\/span>International<\/span> Sustainability <\/span>&<\/span> Carbon Certification<\/span>)<\/span>.<\/span> The HEXPOL TPE<\/span> UK <\/span>site <\/span>was<\/span> recently <\/span>awarded<\/span>, <\/span>expanding <\/span>on <\/span>the<\/span> certification<\/span>s<\/span> in Sweden <\/span>and German<\/span>y<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ISCC PLUS is a global certification <\/span>scheme <\/span>providing traceability along the supply chain<\/span>.<\/span> I<\/span>t <\/span>guarantees <\/span>the <\/span>correct and transparent use of the mass balance approach. All companies along the supply chain undergo the ISCC PLUS audit process. Sustainability declarations create a chain of custody from origin through to the brand owner.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mass balance allows for a gradual increase of the non-virgin fossil share of polymer compounds with the target to reduce the use of fossil raw materials step by step<\/span>, without the need for<\/span> investment in new equipment<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Th<\/span>is<\/span> certification <\/span>allows <\/span>HEXPOL TPE<\/span> to <\/span>produce <\/span>ISCC <\/span>PLUS<\/span> certified bio<\/span>, circular<\/span> and<\/span>\/<\/span>or bio<\/span>–<\/span>circular attributed <\/span>TPE <\/span>and TPV<\/span> materials via the mass balance approach.<\/span> Selected versions of <\/span>the <\/span>Dryflex<\/span> TPE <\/span>portfolio <\/span>will be available.<\/span> The<\/span>se<\/span> new <\/span>TPEs will offer a drop-in <\/span>material <\/span>alternative for customers<\/span>.<\/span> Importantly<\/span>,<\/span> for companies in highly regulated <\/span>markets, t<\/span>he <\/span>TPE<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s<\/span> technical properties, chemical composition<\/span>,<\/span> and regulatory status<\/span> will be the same as the corresponding fossil grade.<\/span><\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
