Responsibilities
- Responsible for sourcing decisions and supplier nominations according to defined value limits
- Procurement of polymers, carbon black and chemicals, across HEXPOL locations.
- Development and implementation of the business plan
- Creation of market analysis
- Processing of global sourcing plans
- Definition of supplier bidder lists and supplier nominations
- Implementation of project-related procurement activities
- Conducting contract and price negotiations with national and international suppliers
- Managing complex raw material streams within HEXPOL network
- Special projects
- Directly reporting to the Purchasing Director Europe & Asia
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience as strategic purchaser or similar experience
- Diploma of Business Administration or similar commercial education
- Project Management experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Technical understanding
- Language skills: Fluent English, German is an asset.
- Willingness to travel globally around 50 days per year
