Spot the Difference
To help explain what we offer, we’d like to start with a question….what’s the difference in the materials below?
Material A
I could be a 40 Shore A, low odour Thermoplastic Elastomer material designed to minimise emissions from VOCs in automotive interiors.
Material B
I could be a 50 Shore A Thermoplastic Elastomer with 82% bio-content from renewable resources. Destined to be made into bike handles.
Material C
I could be a medical grade, 53 Shore A TPE, with carefully selected raw materials developed for a plunger seal in single-use medical syringe.
This is what we do….a material used to mould wheels for a toy car needs to meet very different requirements to a flame-retardant compound used in cable insulation. The extruded profile on your window glazing needs to function in a different environment to a medical oxygen mask.
This is what HEXPOL TPE offers
A Comprehensive Portfolio
We’ve one of the most comprehensive portfolios in the market, led by TPE families Dryflex, Mediprene and Epseal. And not forgetting Lifolit soft PVC, Lifobatch masterbatches and Lifocork Biocomposite cork compounds.
With materials based on TPS, TPO, TPU, TPV & Biobased technologies, we can take a polymer neutral approach and offer the optimal solution for your product.
Technical Support
The technical department is at the heart of what we do. Our scientists, application engineers and processing technologists lead the way in polymer research and development.
We want to make it easy for you to access the knowledge & support you need…when and wherever you need it.
Sustainability targets
How we operate, what we make and how we make it. We’re challenging ourselves to not only think outside the box, but think how we reuse the box!
Sustainability is a big topic for us. We know there’s a lot more to do, but we’re committed to making positive changes to the plastics industry.
