What does your job involve, what are some typical tasks?
I work in the development team in Lichtenfels. Here, I develop TPE compounds to meet customer needs with regard to their specific properties, processing, and price. My main focus is on our Epseal products, which also involve regulatory aspects. I am involved in every stage of the process, from the initial development and laboratory testing to customer sampling.
What makes your job interesting?
Each project is unique and continually presents new challenges, which makes every development very interesting. The variety of applications also makes it exciting.
The entire process, from the material request to the final development and the successful sampling at the customer’s site, makes the work very exciting.
What's your favourite thing about working at HEXPOL TPE?
I really enjoy the combination of lab and office work. It provides a good mix of variety and never gets boring. Furthermore, the mutual support within the development team ensures diverse and creative development approaches.
The regular interaction with other colleagues from sales, purchasing, or production also makes the work very enjoyable.
